VRS & YRN College is managed on the principles of Mahatma Gandhi of being Truthful at all times and in all occasions; Service to the society; and Pride in the nation. As part of the education, Yalamanchili has installed life size statue of Mahatma Gandhi in the college premises and setup a full-fledged museum containing artifacts, picture posters, videos, books, stamps, coins and a meditation hall on the life of Mahatma Gandhi to mark the 150th Birth anniversary of Mahatma Gandhi.
VRS & YRN College is the only institution that begins its day at 08:30 AM with flag hoisting, followed by National anthem with all faculty, students and guests assembled in front of the Mahatma Gandhi statue. The classes will start at 09:00 AM and go on till 05:30 PM from Monday to Saturday. Today, we are glad to note that the museum has become landmark in Chirala and about 3000 students from nearby government and private schools have visited the museum so far.
